We came home today and our cat was confused. He kept asking for food and wanting to be fed. Which is no problem. Really.
Execpt, well, we came home at lunch time. School closed at lunch and D. took the afternoon off. This is the forcast:

AN INTENSE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTH WILL PASS JUST EAST OF XXXXX THIS EVENING.
SNOW AT TIMES HEAVY..BLOWING SNOW AND STRONG WINDS OVER EASTERN AREAS WILL TAPER TO FLURRIES THIS EVENING OR OVERNIGHT. NORTHEAST WINDS GUSTING AT TIMES TO 90 KM/H WILL SHIFT TO NORTHWEST AND GUST AT TIMES TO 110 OVER THE XXXXX AND XXXXX PENINSULAS AND COMBINED WITH THE SNOW WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. FURTHER SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 15 TO 20 CENTIMETRES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE AVALON PENINSULA WITH TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 20 CENTIMETRES ELSEWHERE.
Apparently we're getting another Monday.
The cat most likely woke thinking 'Damn, how long did I sleep, they're home'. We just fed him but gracious, he was persistant. Silly Cat.
