Happy Holidays, 2005-12-26, 8:03 p.m.
Happy Holidays everyone.
My holiday was great - parents and sibs over on saturday, sunday morning here with D. and P. and then out to the parents house to spend the night. All in all quite wonderful.
I recieved a school jacket, 'Gone with the Wind' and a martini set. However, P. had the best day - he recieved a drum set from us and a tricycle from his grandparents. It's great having my siblings at home and it's fantastic being all together.
I thank you all for the comments regarding my cousins fiancee. Having this happen, especially just before christmas, makes you think about and realize how important family is. Please hug your family - blood related and choosen - and enjoy being with them. Nothing can replace them - you just need to treasue every moment.
A song that was sung at her memorial service and one that is apt for this time of year.
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure,
measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In
inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes - how do you
measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love. Seasons of
525,600 minutes! 525,000 journeys to plan. 525,600 minutes - how can you measure
the life of a woman or man?
In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried. In bridges he burned, or
the way that she died.
Itís time now to sing out, tho the story never ends let's celebrate remember a year in the life of friends. Remember
the love! Remember the love! Remember
the love! Measure in love. Seasons of love! Seasons of love.
Happy holidays to you and your family. How will you spend the next 525600 minutes?
