Wow... I've been meaning to write, saving up little things to add to a bigger entry. And then I never get a chance. Which is frustrating.

Let's see....I had a weird class with my Adolecence class. They had to fill out blocks that talked about themselves - what they were good at, what they liked about themselves, etc. And many of them didn't like anything. NOTHING! How do you deal with that? What do you say? I was going to have them make webpages, but now, I think I had to deal with that. Of course I have to deal with that. But how? It's a big, rowdy class. They just want to watch porn. They want to take the class to hang out with their friends. If anyone has any suggestions, please (please please please please) tell me!.

Sad staff meeting yesterday. At least part of it. We found out that a former student of the school has cancer of the knee a few weeks ago. Yesterday we found out that it is terminal and he's not expected to live the year. He's just in high school. There are to many deaths from Cancer, to much cancer, eating away at our population and denying parents their children and children their parents. I don't know the child, but I was nearly crying at the thoughts of it all. Another former student had passed away from a internal, degenrative disease. All of this began the meeting.

As it progressed it was much better. How could it not be? We're going, as a school, to see harry potter on the 19th. We will hopefully have a pd day on the 14th. Kids can't be in this part of the building at this time. Blah blah blah.

Time to take out the garbage - part two soon!
