I've had problems opening bottles. The tops stay on when I am pulling in the other way. Generally, I cop out, giving them to D. to open. He teases me of course, telling me I 'loosened them up' for him. We laugh.

Today, I was making taco dip and needed to open a new bottle of salsa. D. is at work. I hemmed and hawed, hit and smacked and generally made a fool of myself for this bottle.

It opened.

It was a case of Womyn vs. Cannery and Womyn won.

I feel tough and moxie.

And the taco dip is excellent.
