We had a very baby day yesterday. I stayed home and slept then we went to our ultrasound.

He has grown SO much. Before, he looked like skelator. Now, he's a chubby faced baby who is four pounds and a bit. D. heard the heartbeat for the first time and we left the room in a giggly happy mood (Well, I became more giggly after I peed. Ultrasounds and my bladder don't mix!). We went to dads school to show him the pictures and he looked thrilled. He also photocopied it and showed it to mom last evening.

We then went to the baby store, who shall remain nameless due to googles, and bought a load of stuff. A crib, crib drawer, change table (which we'll get when it comes in), bedding, a snugli and a little hat and shoe combo. It's nuts how much stuff is needed - but crazy how much you think you need and don't really need. Right now, if the baby came tomorrow (and if you're listening baby, don't come tomorrow!!!) we'd need some more clothes, a bassinet and diapers. Of course, that's bare minimum and as time went on, we'd get more, but I think babies just really need a place to sleep and something to poo in. At least at first. And we have to get the cat playland.

Then it was groceries and then fun talking about the baby, 'go-bags' and other such things. We have so much to do!!!
